Erica’s experience includes working with young teens, teens, and adults, finding a sense of purpose and fulfillment, relaxation training, reworking negative thought processes, and, overall, mind and body wellness. Erica often works with clients to develop coping skills for life’s stressors and social skills to improve relationships. In the event of divorce, Erica works with child rearing and making life-adjustments in this special and often difficult situation. Erica has experience working with narcissism exposure, a unique understanding of its complications such as leaving a relationship that involves narcissism or being dominated by a controlling individual. Leaving such a relationship is a delicate decision and a process filled with complications that often times comes with the feeling of being damaged or broken. Erica works with individuals to rebuild strengths and self-worth. Or, if choosing to continue in the relationship, Erica will work with you to build the tools that help you retain and strengthen your sense of individuality, your self-worth, and help shape your empowerment. And, yes, men are victims of narcissistic partners too and can benefit from strengthening their coping skills as well.
Erica integrates a blended approach to therapy including; cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, relaxation techniques, and purpose seeking work. Erica values the importance of a holistic perspective in that she works at healing one’s mind, body, and spirit. Our thoughts play a big part in our sense of life and self and Erica would like to work with you to restructure the negative thought processes to bring about true and lasting change.
Also, Erica has a background in faith based interactions, a wholesome open-minded approach to inspiration and motivation. Erica provides online counselling throughout South Carolina and life coaching across all of the United States through Thera-LINK a HIPAA compliant technology that allows us to meet in ways that are most convenient and helpful to you.
Erica became a resident of South Carolina in 2015 with her fiancé, daughter, and soon to be step-daughter. Both her daughters are teenagers so Erica understands the enjoyments and trials of raising two maturing adolescents in a blended family. Her family shares their home with dogs and cats that they have rescued over the years. On the weekends Erica enjoys playing with her dog, reading, relaxing, and with her family eating at Mexican restaurants.
