Katie has experience with children, teens, and adults. She has experience with and provides services for issues including but not limited to anxiety, panic attacks, depression, adjustment disorders, trauma recovery, self-esteem, childhood and adolescent issues, women’s issues, and spiritual issues.
Katie uses an integrative approach to counseling. She primarily uses cognitive behavioral therapy, solutions-focused therapy, person-centered therapy, and faith-based counseling. Katie has completed training in a trauma therapy called Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Katie believes each client is different and approaches them as individuals to provide the best counseling experience possible.
Katie is passionate about helping people become their best selves. She believes this is achieved through treating all aspects of a person–physical, emotional, and spiritual. Katie has a strong Christian faith and welcomes sharing it with those who would find it comforting. Katie is open-minded and welcomes all without judgment.
Katie grew up in the Greenville area and loves living in the upstate. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with friends and family.
